Nakotah Indigenous Enterprise is a boutique mentoring and strategic advisory initiative dedicated to supporting founders, entrepreneurs and organisations seeking to build sustainable enterprises with cultural intelligence and long-term impact.
Founded by internationally recognised creative director, producer and mentor Francesca Marotta, Nakotah brings together more than twenty-five years of experience in mentoring founders, creatives and cultural entrepreneurs across academic institutions, enterprise programmes and international creative industries.
Nakotah means “Friend to all.”
This ethos underpins our work: mentorship grounded in respect, strategic clarity, and the belief that entrepreneurship can be both economically sustainable and culturally responsible.
Through mentoring, enterprise education and advisory services, Nakotah Indigenous Enterprise supports individuals and organisations in transforming ideas into viable enterprises and long-term professional pathways.
Nakotah Indigenous Enterprise was established to address a persistent gap in the entrepreneurial ecosystem: access to high-level strategic mentoring.
While many founders possess talent and vision, few have access to mentors with real-world experience in building sustainable enterprises, navigating international industries and developing long-term professional strategies.
Francesca’s work spans fashion, cultural production, business strategy and enterprise development, with presentations at international platforms including London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and other global industry events.
Francesca has delivered mentoring and enterprise support through institutions including Central Saint Martins, Parsons, Dubai Institution of Design and Innovation, Royal College of Art London, ESMOD Paris, Royal Academy of The Arts Antwerp, La Cambre Brussels, London Metropolitan University, Istituto Marangoni London and the Royal Society of Arts.
Nakotah Indigenous Enterprise extends this work through structured mentoring, advisory services and enterprise programmes designed to support founders in building resilient and meaningful businesses.
